Wood & Mulch Recycling
Stems and branches arising from tree removals may be retained intact, utilised (e.g. by woodchips) or stored for composting and/or mulching, or converted into a useable product (e.g. firewood), preferably on site.
Retaining arisings on or near the site can have conservation benefits and allows the gradual recycling of the mineral nutrients and carbon that they contain not to mention potential cost savings resulting in a more affordable tree surgery service.
Before any tree surgery commences, it can be agreed what is to happen to the arisings (e.g. retained or removed from site). Any arisings to remain will be stored safely and neatly in an appropriate location on site.
We like to develop contacts with people who we can assist in delivering wood and mulch (woodchips) to locations near where we are working.
