Covid-19
Like everyone else I have been trying to keep myself informed about the information and developments associated with the current situation.
Iād like to wish everyone all the best for 2021 in spite of these difficult times.
I have made the carefully considered decision to return to our normal working schedule after consulting the Scottish Government guidance and the control measures provided by our industry body, the Arboriculture Association: https://bit.ly/2YwWYIk
In adherence with the guidelines set out by the Scottish Government at: https://bit.ly/3hTpXii
ā...workplaces in the following sectors/organisations can remain open:
Outdoor workplaces
The business must ensure that there are only the minimum number of people needed on site to operate safely and effectively and maintain their service/operations.
The business must ensure 2 metres physical distancing, good ventilation, and effective hand hygiene should be maintained where possible - these are the most effective means of preventing transmission of the virus.
There is specific guidance for car sharing that should be followed.ā
I have assessed the risk as being low given the nature of our work being outdoors and naturally socially distant from coworkers and clients alike.
However, we would ask clients to keep us informed if they have ANY SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESSno matter what they might be.
These measures are designed to ensure that I take personal responsibility for the health and safety of my colleagues but also that I meet my moral responsibility to the public.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
